Do you know of a friend or animal that could possibly benefit from the use of medical cannabis? Join us on Tuesday, January 31st, from 12-1pm at the San Jose Educational Park Branch Library for “Medical Cannabis For You and Your Pets!” This hour-long seminar will touch on various topics including how cannabis affects our pets, the human endocannabinoid system, and the current status of recently passed Proposition 64.

Representatives from VETCBD will be assisting with the course, offering valuable information on their high-CBD meds for pets, now available at Elemental Wellness!

“We want to offer the personalized experience of having a speaker from the company, rather than just reading it from a pamphlet,” said Joe Lindsey, Director of Elemental’s Community Outreach Program. “We’ll be available for a Q&A session following the class, and the folks from VETCBD will be handing out coupons as well.”

Like humans, pets have endocannabinoid systems too--active, and ready to receive the benefits offered by certain cannabinoids. Enter VETCBD, offering a non-psychoactive oil aimed at helping your beloved pet battle a plethora of medical issues!

“So far, it’s been used most commonly to treat anxiety; I’ve talked with members who have specifically used it while travelling to help calm their animal,” said Lindsey. “It can also act as an appetite stimulator for older pets, or just pets in general.

Per VETCBD’s site, their mix is “sourced from full flower. The same high-quality cannabis grown for human consumption.” Based in olive oil, with no other additives, you can be assured that what your little friend is ingesting is totally animal-safe!

Join us on January 31st to learn more about how medical cannabis could improve quality of life for both you and your pet! Hope to see you there!
