Tai Chi

It started as an ancient Chinese martial arts form used to ward off attackers, and has evolved into a graceful form of slow-motion exercise that combines circular movements and deep breathing to relax the muscles and create soothing body sensations. Because you go through a series of motions without pausing, it is often described as “meditation in motion”. Studies conducted by the Harvard Medical School have shown that, when combined with other standard treatments, Tai Chi has been effective in battling many ailments including: Arthritis, Hypertension, Breast Cancer, Heart Disease, Sleep Problems, and Parkinson’s Disease.
