We had an amazing experience this past weekend in Daly City at the 2016 NorCal High Times Cannabis Cup! The weather was fantastic, and many of the region’s most recognizable names were on hand to showcase their unique products. Our team spent the weekend at the Elemental Seeds booth, handing out a myriad of awesome gifts and speaking with hundreds of patients.

The event featured some of the industry’s newest start-ups, in addition to many already-established mainstays. Our friends at Care By Design and Absolute Extracts were in attendance—undeterred by the unwarranted police visits earlier in the week. Big Sur Extracts also separated itself from the bunch, offering one of the weekend’s most popular dab booths—providing samples of its popular Sundrops and Stardrops for attendees.

Our team was lucky enough to bump into one of cannabis culture’s most revered figures, High Times writer and grow expert Jorge Cervantes! Cervantes is also the author of The Cannabis Encyclopedia and Marijuana Horticulture: Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower’s Bible, both of which are available at Elemental.

Thanks for the chat and picture, Jorge!

Popular EDM duo Big Gigantic wrapped things up Saturday night, playing a fun-filled set for those dedicated enough to stick around after a long afternoon in the sun.

Sunday was judging day, which saw Elemental Seeds add yet another trophy to its mantle—2nd place in the ‘Indica Concentrates’ category for their True OG Live Resin. Congrats to Elemental Seeds and esteemed extract maker, Dabblicious, a collaborator on this stunning medicine, and thanks again for letting us tag along!

Thank you to all the participants and prize winners from our #WhereIsWellness Twitter contest—always happy to hand out complimentary medicine vouchers and free Elemental gear! If you missed out, be sure to check out the Elemental Wellness Twitter for future promotions and giveaways.  And check our 710 page to get the details on more awesome giveaways here at the center on Sunday, July 10th!

Until next year, guys!
